Please help. I am doing some decorating soon and I intend to do all the wood work in various rooms again. I did use a waterbased gloss when I did it a couple of years ago but this does not leave a good smooth finish. Can I paint over this with an oil based gloss? Or can anyone recommend a decent water based gloss that will not look ****e? :?
 
You are best to slightly rubdown wood, then Undercoat Using Dulux Trade Oil Based Undercoat. Then apply Dulux Trade Oil Based Gloss or Eggshell in an off white colour.
