Painted ceiling smells bad

I’ve emulsioned 3 ceilings had bad odour from seems I’ve sorted 2 out by using Zinsser bin but last one I ca not seal in I’ve put 5 coats on it’s a small area odour will not go away run out of ideas there is I’ve been thinking about because it’s a very small area could I put lining paper up to block smell

You have painted a ceiling with 5 coats of BIN and it still smells?

It might be advisable to email zinsser and ask what they recommend.

Just a thought - above the ceiling , is there a WC ?
