I'm looking at installing plywood over the concrete floor in my 1st floor flat. I was going to use tapcon screws to fix the ply to the concrete but I have no idea what kind of ply to use and how thick it should be (3/4"??) I'm hoping someone could give me a quick tutorial on what to use and how to install.

I want to keep costs low, but using a grade of ply that's just good enough to paint (white probably) and maybe even stain/varnish.

Sorry I'm a bit clueless :) thanks!!

Ply isn't going to look all that special painted, I'd think of a plan b like laminate
