Can anyone recommend a bathroom paint to use below the bath line for a belt and braces incase of any leaks. It's going onto plain plaster. I was thinking about black bitumin paint

Thanks Guys

A complete waste of time & money; if you seal between the top of the bath & tiles properly, you will never get any water down there.

If you feel you really must paint it, just prime the new plaster, 2/3 quick coats of matt white emulsion thinned 25-30% & over cover with bathroom paint next day, will be as good as anything. If you do decide to put bitumen on it, just hope that you or some other poor unsuspecting soul never wants to move the bath!
