I'm unsure how to exactly proceed with painting a new plaster in a bathroom. Does it need any special steps vs painting 'normal' rooms?

The ceiling will be white while the walls will be in a different colour (bright grey). The plan is to:

1. Seal both walls and ceilings with 1 layer of watered down matt white paint.
2. For walls: 2 coats of grey emulsion bathroom paint. Vinyl matt (unsure if soft sheen would be better)
3. For ceiling: 2 coats of white bathroom paint

So in total 3 different paints will be used. I'm unsure if I should:
1. For walls should I seal with the same paint as the final coats? And same with the ceiling?
2. If not, should I add one more layer of non watered down layer of matt white paint after the seal/mist coat?
