Hi,

I've stripped all the plaster from my walls and it's going to be a while before I plasterboard and as it is still very dusty, thought about painting the walls until I plasterboard.

What is the best paint to use? I guess I need something that PVA glue will also stick to when I put up the plasterboard?

Is there anything that would also double up as an insolator?

Thanks

cheers j, probably a stupid question but...when the pva dries, will it be clear?

Be carefull here "toxictoad" cos if you paint brick, then there is a chance that the dot & dab procedure may fall off as the paint will not hold up the boards. Yes, PVA dries in clear.

just use the pva to stifle the dust.

a couple of diluted coats.

job done.

thanks guys, never would have thought I'd be gluing the house!

Sorry maybe I'm not following correctly:

You're using PVA to stick the plasterboard to the brickwork?

No, Drywall Adhesive is used to stick gyproc to sealed (thinned down PVA) brick wall !
