I am going to be overpainting walls in my lounge, which are currently painted with a burgundy (I know) silk emulsion, changing it to Magnolia matt emulsion. What is the best way to cover it without the burgundy bleeding through   :?:

What if any are the advantages of using Super Latex??

well, if it's magnolia, then I guess it's not been specially mixed, but if you have some left over white emulsion, blitz the wall with this first, then see how well this has removed the colour, maybe another coat of bog standard white emuslsion, then top coat of magnolia, which incidentally seems to have changed colour over the years. It used to be a sort of insipid germolene pink, but now, its sort of and insipid sand colour

Don't forget the prep of the wall first though.

Light grey is a good one to use to blot out strong colours too
