Is this the correct thing to do - read so many threads I am confused.

After plaster skim - leave to dry out

apply a miscoat of matt emulsion typically thin out by 30 -50%
fill any minor blemishes with filler.
lightly sand with fine sanding block.

First coat of emulsion thin a little

Cut in edges with 2 inch brush. Apply paint by roller.
Apply two coats

It is for a bathroom and the ceiling will be the same as the walls. Would the best way be to cut in the ceiling and walls at the same time. Emulsion ceiling. Then emulsion walls one at a time (corners and edges previously cut in as well)

Thanks
