Hi,
I am boarding the sloping ceiling in my loft using 9.5mm handyboards (900mm x 1200mm). I dont want to get it skimmed and was hoping it would be ok to prime and use scrim over joints. I would then go over scrim with multifinish and sand down then re-prime ready for emulsion. Can anybody see a problem with this method?

Would be better using tapered boards and tape/fill using easi-fill, if you don't want to skim.
If you have square edge boards, the scrim & multi will prob be difficult to get flat and it will show.
