My mate is round and talking about a unvented cylinder Ackolade, (may be spelt wrong). Any how after 20mins of running water passing through tundish, Any Ideas to go with our theoris :?:

 Come on Dave

How about the expansion vessel knackered? Or maybe just the prv knackered?

I keep reading it still dont understand

does the water stop after twenty minutes or not

who knows

Welldone MatT
Welldone Dave

MY diagnosis was the EV was Knackered, and /or the PRV knackered.

Said he has recharged the EV but had'nt checked if valve was passing water. That was a few weeks ago and cylinder is now passing water through tundish again. One knackered EV.

He's going to change EV, so surgested he drains and checks PRV and temp rv.

If I remember my unvented course correctly the only person who can change a built in safety device on an unvented cylinder is the manufacturers or their agents according to G3 regs. Am I correct :?:

No anyone with G3 should do it, not nescessary to have the sanction of the makers
