can anyone help i need to work out the fall of a path 22metres long with a gradient of 1:80 and can you tell me simply how to work out the equation

22 divided by 80 = 0.275m = 275mm

cheers how do you work it back the way for example 8 metres 100mm fall what is gradient

8 divided by 0.1m(100mm) = 80 = 1:80
