Hello folks,

Could any of you advise me how create a new raised patio area a brick length higher than the rest of the patio?

I'm just starting the main patio but I'm not sure how to go about creating a small raised area on top in one corner?

Do i build on top of the indiansandstone flags, starting with the soldiers then fill with ??? then lay slabs on top?

I guess the same question would be for the step/s i also need to create up the patio doors.

Thanks

if its only one brick high and the slabs have been wet layed on a cement mortar bed then you can build the brickwork directly off of the slab. You will then need to infill the raised araes to bing up the level so you can lay the slabs.
