I’m installing a bi fold patio door in replacement for a window, we have a cavity wall 1966 build house. Inside wall has a concrete lintel but nothing on the exterior leaf
Should I just put a catnic ccs / single leaf lintel in or is it best to put a cavity wall lintel?
Patio door is 2140
Window is 2360
So we will be bricking up around 200mm
I’ve worked out a lintel 2.5m or above would be plenty for the overhang onto the brick either side
