Patio specifications including slot drain and kerb installation

Just to begin with the fact that I am a total novice when it comes to garden/building works.

Please see below my design and specifications for a simple ground level patio installation which will be level with the threshold of a rear alley which will be accessed via a gate. I have also attached the installation instructions for the Aco slot drain.

I would like clarification on a few questions I have regarding the specifications and also would appreciate any other additional comments.

Q1. Could I get away with a less deep sub-base bearing in mind if I do make it less deep some of the concrete bedding for the Aco slot drain will have to be supported by the subgrade on the left-hand side?

Q2. If I wanted to lower the Kerb to be level with the Patio would I have to lower the sub-base around the Kerb bedding or would it be better to just lower the entire sub-base?

Q3. Should I have some of the sub-base behind the Kerb bed as shown in the drawings?

Q4. How do I fill the void between the slot drain and the raised planter tile. The tile will sit slightly below the level of the patio. In my drawings, I have the void filled with a polymer modified mortar as suggested on the Aco installation instructions.

Q5. I believe the Aco drain can only be cut in half meter sections, the total width of the patio inside wall to inside wall is 4460mm. I have my Aco slot drain at 4000mm in length with the Aco corner unit at 126mm to give a total slot drain width of 4126mm. This leaves 334mm undrained which I assume should be ok?

180mm sub base is overkill unless you're starting a bus depot on your patio or you live on a swamp. We did 75mm for our patio although i could see a case for 100mm.
I'd just bed the kerbs in lean concrete and make sure enough of it.

Please see my updated image based on your advice, sub-base was reduced to 100mm.

So I have to create a foundation for the kerb bedding to rest on? I assume I make it slightly wider than the kerb bedding width. Is this drawing now correct?

Are you doing it yourself or getting a contractor?
Once you can see the ground conditions you can decide how much to dig back. There's a good site called paving expert that has plenty of info and the specs they give it will never move in a hundred years. The main thing is to dig out any soft spots where the roots etc were and make sure it's all compacted properly with the whacker.
