anyone else think he's bringing this forum to its knees?
hes brought it to its knees already, im not sure its ever gonna recoveranyone else think he's bringing this forum to its knees?
You can all run him down now, hes away on a lime plastering course.
thats because hes killed it, and when he comes back there will just be arguments again thats all there is nowdays thats all thats keeping the forum alive, i cant be bothered much with it anymore the mods are not doing their job properly its as simple as that i was an admin on uk spreads i was given full reign over the forum to do as i please i could ban anybody for a any amount of time i wanted i could give them an indefinite ban if i wished and if i was an admin on here i would have banned peaps2 as soon as he showed up again i wouldn't let him upset someone like richardc who from what looks like gave a large part of his time in helping out diyers it looked like diynot was a part of his daily ritual he must have clocked up thousands of diynot hours only for a someone like peaps to come along and ruin it by by trying to belittle him and anyone else, even me he was targeting even going as far as to try and find out what jobs i've done what i've worked on ect what buildings ive worked on ect ect, why do the mods not bar him again ? they know who he is and they know hes barred yet hes still hereBut it seems that when he is not on here the forum is dead,
i feel the same , espec when the same question keeps popping up but if i wasn't so despondent with the forum i think i would be able to find the energy from somewhere to tap out the reply, as it is im just coming on and reading, half the time im not even signed in because i know im not going to post anythingquite a few of the original posters who either dont or rarely give advice now.
Their reasons only they know, personally i find myself going round in circles with the same questions being asked over and over again..Thats why i rarely post in plastering now.
Well I like peaps. I reckon he only does the very lucrative English Heritage contracts - (£100k plus), and that he has a bunch of lads doing the work.
A lot of the stuff he says makes good sense, especially about not mixing old systems ( breathable lime) with new ( waterproof cement).
He's a good addition to the forum and genuinely cares about our heritage.
