Pelmet or no pelmet

My Wren kitchen came with a pelmet and a Cornish both square.

However when I go to the showroom they have not fitted the pelmet.

It’s for a rental shall I install it or not as I will have to cut the end panels accordingly.

My kitchen is handleless like the photo 1
In photo 2 is the pelmet installed
