I have 2 pepper plants, a bell pepper and a variety of tapas pepper, and though there are plenty of large peppers on each plant, the peppers are turning black at the tops. Both plants are planted outside, are watered regularly and get plenty of sunlight. Anyone know why this is happening and what i can do to prevent it.

are they going black from the stalk end or the blossom end?

What sprays do you use?

Have they been allowed to dry out for a day or more?

If they are going black they are probably rotting so you had better cut them off and compost them. You can cut them open and have a look if you like.

are you sure they are actually turning black or are they actually turning to red as they ripen? does tend to look black in the early stages of doing this

maybe they're morphing into these,
