It is a simple fact that if the EU did a better job of vaccine procurement....the UK wouldn't have any.

Do any of you fully understand exactly WHY they split their vaccine into 2 doses & then later, extended the time between them???
Other than it just makes the vaccine even more effective, no. They do similar with other vaccines, to improve immunity.
My understanding is that it was driven by concerns of variants....the thinking was to get far more people jabbed up for a bit of protection
I heard they extended it, because they decided it was more effective if done later than they were originally doing it. A rumour went around that alternating the jab type, might have value, but I never heard any more about that.
And if my Aunty had balls, she would be my Uncle, but she isn't.
I'm hearing rumblings that say that some groups are being vaccinated on a 4 week cycle as results so far show their immunity dropped off to nearly nothing by week 12 and not picking up as most do after the second dose. Unconfirmed rumours though.

About as reliable as our 'glorious leader' then...
Mind you, we'll soon be seeing the bunter in his £9m bunker, complete with screens showing 'kill ratios' and all that
