We are planning a small kitchen extension and wondered if we fall within the current PD rules..What we have done to date is:

1. Conservatory about 9 years ago that was within PD (70cu/m)
2. Large extension with planning 4 years ago, plans showed said conservatory;

The extension is at the rear and most is from the original rear wall but 4 feet would add to the rear of the side extension that we had planning for.

Would this fall under PD - I cant tell from the guidance as the extension was under planning approval and not a previous PD?

It's difficult to tell without drawings and by consulting your LPA.

AIUI permitted development is based on the original house (as built or as it stood in 1948) so the extension and conservatory are probably irrelevant.

You'll need to check with the LA anyway.
