OK, maybe not clear to everybody, but pretty damn obvious to anybody who stops to ask "is it really true?"

e.g. people know this is fake and the papers are just being silly (at least, I hope so ...)

But people also believe this

And it's all the seriously written stories on the internet that are doing most of the damage today.

The main problems with tabloids is really fuelling hate (and brexit) with their xenophobic headlines, but at least they mostly don't try to argue cases against science and fact. They just create some wacky stories!
