My 306 started overheating. Took it to the garage where they've changed the fan switch (after I told them that I thought it could be this as I haven't heard the fan switching on) and temperature sensor switch. They gave it me back saying that the car is now fine and that the fan is kicking in just below the red! I told the mechanic that I didn't think it was normal for the car to be running at such high temperatures but he said that these engines run hot! I may be a female but I'm not stupid and know that this is definitely not right as optimum temperature is about 90. Needless to say the car is still going very close to the red after 10 minutes in normal town traffic. The heater blows out hot air. We've changed the thermostat. Any ideas?
