Hi,

I have a 307 SW and the ESP warning light stayed on the other day so I turned the engine off and back on again and it went away but on the way to work this morning it flickered on and off for a few seconds just after the start of my journey.

Apparently it's a Electronic Stability Programme warning light.

Any idea what this might actually mean & can I take it to my normal garage or does it have to go into a peugeot dealer?

thanks for any advice,
worto.

on most cars the esp light will illuminate when the wheels lose traction,i wouldnt worry about it unless it comes on and stays on,this would then indicate a fault on the system

ah thanks - it was probably doing that then on the way to work today then because of the slippy roads, it has come on & stayed on twice now in the last 3 weeks but most of the time it behaves & when it does come on & stay on a restart makes it go off again.

would you just leave it until it gets worse or is it best to get it checked out?

Thanks for your help,
worto.
