I would happily consider doing this if I could find someone suitable locally.
So far maybe I have been unlucky with guys that just want to load you up on parts.

And the female engineer from South Wales? Oh, you didn’t get her details. Maybe next time?

No .. I would not approach an engineer on-site sent by a company to take work off that company, unethical ...... but I wish I had taken her name & number, avoided the issue I had.

I assume there are suitable people in West Glamorgan, I don't know many gas engineers if someone on here wants to reach out to me - then great.
I have met only a couple - and if I could find someone who wanted to be competent & fair then I'd be happy to engage direct.
