hi guys

i have a problem when starting up the the dvd recorder freeveiw box.

during powering up the box fails to "initialise " ie powers up but does not leave the standby -initialisation mode showing fault code INIT and red standby light illuminated.

I have the same problem with my DVDR5500, just wondering if you ever got an answer or solved it yourself? Thanks.
