Those most in favour of immigration into Britain live nowhere near the immigrants.

In my personal experience that doesn't hold water. I'm in favour of integration of a multi-cultural society, and I'm surrounded by people of many origins and nationalities. Hell, I'll even put up with Brits who've lived in Oz and migrated back again.
