Physical Memory

Recently my laptop has been playing up. Starts off OK then for some reason the Physical Memory will shoot up to 98% and everything stops or slows down so much it might as well have stopped.

Any suggestions?

First thing I would try would be a restore.

Hi,

I wouldn't even think about a restore untill you have identified what the problem as it will just come back.

I presume you are using task manager to see that the memory usage is high. Sort the processes by memory and see what taking it and make sure "Show processes for all users" is selected. You can drill down even further by selecting the "Resource Monitor" on the performance tab too.
