hi all, thanks for the advice re my posts.
anyway, i am constructing a picket fence - it will be approx 1 lenght of 42 feet and one of 12 feet, joined at a right angled corner.
i am using 3*3 treated posts approx 3 ft tall, 3 inch wide * 1 inch thick pickets and 2inch square rails.
i am going to put the posts 1.8 mtrs apart.
i was going to fix the rails to the posts then, fix the palins to the rails - as oposed to constructing panels of fencing to attach to the posts - is this a good or bad idea.
also has anyone constucted a concave picket fence - i was going to point each palin but a friend has a concave fence nad it looks realy neat - whats the best way of achieving this lok
cheers
