Pine Floor scratched

The builders have just managed to drag a sofa across my recently stained and varnished pine floorboards and caused some light but visible scratch marks.
Is there any way of removing the scratches without having to resand the whole room again.

light scratches have you tried wetting you finger with spit and rubbed the affected area!!!!

if the scratches disapear wait a day till the floor dries lightly rub with fine sandpaper along the scratches but with the grain
wipe with a moist cloth and varnish the rubbed area sparingly

if the scratches are light and barely visible i would live with them as its going to get a lot worse with time
