My PIR is failing to trigger the lamps wired to it at dusk .The PIR is calibrated at the factory and has worked fine for several years.
A very slight tap on the base of the unit (NEWLEC NL5601) is enought to get it to work OK., but obviously is not a long term solution.
I am a complete novice on photoelectric units and am wondering if someone might be able to tell me if this is a sign to replace the unit (or a part)or is there something I might be able to do to fix it ?
