pir probs

Last night one of the pir's on my optima alarm triggered. On the board one zone was highlighted. What would be the way of investigating and solving any potential probs with the pir and on the control panel without setting the alarm siren off.

There could be a tiny spider inside or a large spider outside. How old is the unit? If it’s failed once I’d replace it with a Pyronix 15DQ detector and ensure that the cable entry is sealed.
