Pir sensor

Hey guys. Is this OK to ceiling mount?:

I want to light up a 1sqm porch.

It's not the prettiest but it's a high ceiling and I doubt anybody will look up.

That's a 12 volt PIR for an intruder alarm system, not suitable for controlling lights.

Toolstation product code 65562 would be more suitable if you can flush mount it. Quite unobtrusive too.

I've no space above the ceiling.
It'll have to be surface mounted.

I want to use a 2w bulb.
The space is smaller than 1sq m so don't need a lot of light
