PIR switching itself on

Hi, I fitted a Danler PIR into my WC under the stairs, it works great but it also turns itself on when someone opens the external back door? The WC door is closed properly when this is happening. Has anyone any ideas on why this would be happening and how to solve the problem? Could it be to do with pressure or something when the external door is opened?
Any help will be appreciated
