Morning,
I am replacing the PIR on my outside wall lamp.

The wire i am using from the NEW PIR are,
BLUE BROWN YELLOW

The wire from the OLD PIR were,
BLUE BROWN BLACK

Is it ok to assume the wiring image i show is correct in that,
BLUE - BLUE
BROWN - BROWN
YELLOW - BLACK

Thanks

Sorry i forgot to advise PIR wires from the PIR unit
RED = LOAD OUT
BLUE = N
BROWN = L

I cannot follow your wording.

In the first post text you list three wires but in the picture you have four -

and now a Red has appeared.

Yes i messed up sorry.

The wires in the first post relate to the extension wire that i will use.
The second post is the actual wires that exit the pir & into a block connector.

I suppose the best way to ask is the wires from pit to connect to house wire.

Does that make sense

House wires
BLUE
YELLOW/GREEN
BROWN

New Pir Wires
RED
BROWN
BLUE

I took it apart like this

HOUSE BLUE = LAMP BLUE & PIR BLUE
HOUSE YELLOW/GREEN = LAMP GREEN
HOUSE BROWN = PIR BROWN
LAMP BROWN = PIR BLACK

The new PIR wires are
RED
BROWN
BLUE
