Anyone know if 20mm pirahna earth nuts are still made

edmunson seem to have stopped stocking them

Thanks

Why

I like them especially for 3 core swa in plastic boxes.

even used them as normal locknuts
Mainly on commercial switchgear though, where theres more room as seem easier to grip than the silly thin galv ones with about two threads

Must admit to hating the galv ones - I always go for the packs with the decent brass lockbuts - Forget the actual make.

I have seen them a few times, and just think they can be a little cumbersom in an encsloure, with too pany nibs and nobs!

am I missing somethig here? they appear to be smooth inside except for the very little one in the TLC picture?
how then are they locknuts?

Dont know whats wrong in the pic

They do come with thread same size as standard locknuts
The grub screw dont stick out like that once screwed in and you dont need that always, same goes for the earth screw not always needed.

One side also has teeth so you can put it on and tighten with one pair of grips, or use the smooth side just like normal.

The only downside is where space is tight , there about 10mm thick
