have fitted a aqualux frameless shower door but the botttomm opening edge sticks - there is no adjustment on the hinges, they are rising hinges so perhaps I could add a washer

Has anyone had a similar problem or a solution

Many thanks

Hi there,

Is it the whole length that sticks or just one end.

You've eith fitted it too low or the bath aint level.

Any chance you could drop the bath level a tiny bit on the adjustable legs.

hi thanks - sorry should have clarified it is a full door on a shower tray and it is sticking just on the bottom of the opening corner, and all appears to be square

Hi again,

According to the aqualux website all their door have 20mm adjust.

Are your walls plumb ?

Not square :)

Is this one where the door fits into a channel attached to the wall? You adjust the fitting depth in the channel and then tighten all the bolts when everything is just so.

Or is it one where the door fits on a spindle top and bottom into a frame? Those you can adjust by moving the hinge fitting horizontally along the frame. Obviously that only adjusts the tilt but that should be all that needs adjustment to fit a slightly off-square frame and to balance the door movement.

thanks - The door is hung on 2 hinges fitted to a side panel and butts up to the frame on the other side - its only been used a few times and is getting worse, could it be the wall fittings?
