Planning for replacement conservatory

The rough weather we’ve just had has emphasised how leaky our existing c. 3.5 by 3.5 Victorian style conservatory is. It’s 30 years old now.

I’m thinking in a couple of years we’d like to replace it with triple glazing and a better insulated ‘tile styled’ roof.

I believe the base is solid - my neighbour who has the same style of house confirmed the conservatory was built original to the house and share the houses foundations.

I’d say my DIY skills at the moment are just before the intermediate bracket and I’m looking to expand these - I’ll be attempting to DIY replace a couple of uPVC windows next year.

Is it feasible to DIY including the roof, or would I best leave to the professionals? Is it even worth the saving in labour? I’m thinking 2 years gives me a good amount of time to research, plan and practise but I’m happy to be told ‘don’t bother mate’!

I’m in Northern Ireland so we have different Building Regs and I’d need to research this in more detail also.
