Planning permission needed for pitched roofs over small dorm

I have a four bedroomed Barratt built house which has silly little flat roofs above the upstairs front two windows.

I'm going to replace these small flat roofs with pitched roofs. Does anyone know if I need planning permission to do this please ? :?
