I am thinking of taking on a project with existing architects plans available; if it happens it will be a renovation of existing farm buildings to residential use. I would intend using builders to at least first fix then take over SOME stuff myself.
Can anyone advise me if these existing plans would be enough for a builder to quote on and to work with? If not what are the more detailed plans called, and are these done through an architect too or a quantity surveyor? Also would the architect or q.s. prepare the bills of quantities?
THANKS!!

Any builders quoting will require full building regulations drawings with section details, elevation details, existing and proposed (where applicable) and overview plans.
