If getting some made-to-measure plantation shutters for a bathroom which has an overhead bath shower and a hand-held shower, which type of hardwood timber would you suggest having these internal shutters made from?
An overhead fan in the ceiling takes away most steam.
No water will get on the shutters from the overhead shower, but I suppose they could receive some water from the hand-held shower which is maybe 70 cm away from the shutters when the hand-held is being used.
The shutters would not be bare timber, but would be a white colour applied by the manufacturer. I presume it's just a white paint.
Thanks.
