Shutters are straight, wall isn't - gap problem

Evening all, just had some expensive plantation shutters fitted which look great except for one problem.

The wall on one side isn't straight so a gap opens up between the shutter and the wall from the bottom of the shutter getting wider as it goes up. It's about 28-29mm at its widest so caulk is no good. Would like to get your opinions if possible as to the options available:

Plastering - could we fill and skim over and colour match to the walls?
UPVC or wood trim - could we colour match and glue this on? Might this just look wonky as the gap isn't the same width all the way up?

I think removing the shutters would be a massive pain so if that could be avoided then more the better.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thanks

Chris

Sorry they're sideways on. Tried to show the gap from thin bottom to wide top

Its hard to get a total sense of what's going on without an overall view ,but it looks like a bead fitted all round, a plain flat bead would be best scribe to fit ,pre paint finish before fitting to save messing up new shutters.
