I CURRENTLY WORK FOR A DAMP PROOFCOMPANY SO IM ONLY USED TO USING SAND AND CEMENT. I RECENTLY USED THISTLE BONDING UNDERCOAT ON A WALL AND SKIMMED THE NEXT DAY BUT IT SUCKED IN STRAIGHT AWAY CAN I PVA IT OR SHOULD I SKIM IT THE SAME DAY SO THEIRS LESS SUCTION?

Yes to both questions.

I usually always skim the same day.

If you have left it overnight, then you will find the bonding has dried sufficently to cause you problems with the skim coat. PVA and skim away.

Saying that, if you skim too early, you will be left with bubbles in the skim coat. All comes down to experience.
