Hi,
I'm a novice diy-er so please excuse my ignorance!
Can you fix plasterboard directly onto existing plasterboard (existing board is skimmed and painted)?
My situation is; I have a new staircase going into the loft which sits flush against existing wall. I want to build out the existing wall so that the appearance of the transition from wall to staircase is the same as the original staircase below. So I need to build out existing wall about 15-20mm including finishing skim.
And if I can just use a grab adhesive, would Pinkgrip be ok? Got loads of that stuff!
Thanks in advance for help/advice!
