I have taperds edge plasterboarded my kitchen ceiling and taped and filled/sanded. I'm now ready to paint with it being a kitchen ceiling. Do I need to seal it before I paint to protect the board from any moisture. I thought maybe SBR bond. But not sure if the paint will go on to it correctly. Thanks for any advice.

Hi,
For large areas of filling and taping, I have found Dulux 'Sealer for plaster' really good.

It may be pricey, but it works for me; allowing painting soon after application, without the filler turning into a smudgy mess!
...and you don't need to do a mist coat!
