I need to skim a large wall but feel its to big to do in one go. Can anyone advise how to split the wall down into two parts?

how big is the wall and how confident a spread r you?
there are a few ways you can either mark out as far as you think you can go with a strip of skrim thenonce you have your first and second coat on and have one trowel left pull the skrim off and start spreading the next area and feather the joint. so youll be staggering your hits but only as long as it takes to spreadd the next area, then drop back finish trowel the first bay and get onto the bit youve just done.
or you can put a stop bead on the wall in the place that you think you could get up to, but make sure to put it up back to front so you dnt skim over the wing, then same as above really.
as i said above it all depends on how quick and confident a plasterer you are.
