Hi,
Have stripped wood chip off of the smaller bedroom in first floor terrace maisonette. Two of the walls are internal, one holds the window and one is the party (I think) wall between me and next door.

The plastering that has been revealed is crumbling and bulging in places and flexes in places when pressed - especially on the internal walls. On the 'external' walls, the plastering isn't too bad - relatively smooth although dotted with small holes.

I would like to re-plaster myself, but have never done any plastering before and would like some advice on how to go about it, or if it is simply better to get a plasterer in.

Thanks!

Hi JB,
Think you would be better to get a plasterer in to have a look at your job and give you his opinion and any advice you require, and take it from there.

Regards:Roughcaster.
