Plastering over copper pipes

When chasing hot and cold pipes in to the wall to feed a shower, then plastering over do they need protecting is duct tape ok? Or hairfelt lagging?
 
you shouldn't plaster in hot & cold pipes they need to be accessible just chase, protect & tile over
 
It's fine, just put some of that metal chicken wire plasterers use and it'll be strong enough.
