i know that a bag of multi covers 9sm at 3mm thick but how do you measure out the quantity of plaster to use on various sizes of wall.

when priceing a job do you normaly price per job or by sqm.


also do you have any tips for taking on a large areas.

I get 22 ton lorries of plastering sand and when its gone its gone, as for measuring a job...... linear count, measure every run of wall in the house, including all windows and doors to allow for bead setting reveals etc, times this amount by the height, say 2.4 mtr times this amount by your metreage rate of either straight skim or float and set. labour only.
