Wonder if somebody could offer some advice?

I need to get above a conservatory (standard height 4m wide) to replace the soffits and fascia boards on a two story house. What is the best thing to hire for safe working under the roof? Is it two towers with staging boards, powered platform or something much easier?

Thanks.

I would say scaffolding, around here about £400 - £600 for 28 days. It's the safest way of doing it and more comfortable plus you're saving money if you're doing it yourself.

Go to your local hire centre (hss, vhs, sgb, toolhire) I don't know your location so cant specifically help. And ask to hir 2 galvanised/aluminium towers and a 16 (or 18) foot staging board. You can asseble it yourself its quite easy you just need a lift with the board.

£250 approx for a weekend hire here in sunny Brum. Its cheaper than hiring steel scaffold that will remain there for bloddy ages after you have finished the job
