Please Help! Ideal Mini HE CE28

Hi

For some reason this morning when I turn on a tap the boiler start's but doesnot fire, then the power light stays flashing and the red light in the middle stays on, however when i have the heating on and turn the tap on the boiler stops, starts and fire's as usual!!!???

Does anyone have an idea what it could be??

I have recently drained the system and put a c/h cleaner when refilled, the pressure is good and I have checked and there is no air in the system!

Remove the left hand cover from the pcb. Get the MI's and follow the fault finding guide, set the boiler into diagnostic mode. The led's will tell you what the problem is by refering to the manual.

Without sounding stupid, how do i do that???

I have looked at the LED's and followed the fault finding guide.

Etherything seems ok.

Do you know why its ok when the CH is on but stops working whan CH is off???

Change both thermistors as if one or both out of calibration with give intermittent "daft" faultcodes. That come and go
