Fair enough, but do I take it that you've now revised your view? The flex goes 'upwards' (to/from goodness knows where) but the cable to the socket (going off in trunking to the right) has a sleeved CPC, so presumably T&E - as also is the short connection to the adjacent socket. I suppose it's even possible that the flex is the power feed to both sockets (which themselves have been wired with T&E!At first glance I thought that there was flex going along the trunking to the socket.
I can't disagree with any of that. But the flex neutral doesn't look in the terminal properly (or there is a lot of copper out of the terminal) That suggests to me that the 'electrician' possibly wasn't competent, especially with the line screw apparently loose. (Unless someone has been fiddling afterwards !)
Kind Regards, John
